Enfield's Stone of Destiny Pipe Band Takes First in Rhode Island

The band has been working hard and it has paid off with two first place finishes this season.

Recently, Enfield's own pipe band, the Stone of Destiny, took the field against six other bands in Rhode Island and came away with a win.

After a day of torrential rains, the band took the field under a sunny Rhode Island sky.

Although the band is only in it's second season of competition, it is quickly becoming contenders in the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association.

The band's next competition will be at the Glasgow Lands Scottish Games at Look Park in Northampton, MA on July 20.
