Changes Coming to Enfield Yard Waste Collection
Grass, leaves and brush to be collected from barrels.
Starting next year, Enfield yard waste pick-up will only be collected in brown yard waste tipper barrels.
Bags will no longer be picked up beginning in the spring of 2014, according to the town.
"The purpose of the change is to improve collection efficiencies and reduce work related injuries, improving safety and saving taxpayer dollars," reads a town post.
The town is currently selling 96 gallon brown yard waste tipper barrels for $25.
