Enfield police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who robbed the Sovereign Bank branch on Enfield Street Friday, escaping with an undetermined amount of cash.
The robbery took place at 1:59 p.m. when a man entered the bank and handed a note to a teller. The suspect was described as stocky, wearing a baseball-style pullover shirt, a Red Sox cap and sunglasses, Capt. Jeff Golden said.
No weapon was displayed, and no injuries were reported, Golden said.
