Sorry to break it to you 'Happy to be a DEMOCRAT FOR LIFE!' but, this is a dying state! More people…Read More are leaving the state than are moving to it. Those who are leaving the state are more educated and are higher on the socio-economic ladder than the average. Dan Malloy's record tax increase two years ago coupled with the business unfriendly political climate has caused businesses to pack up and leave as well. Heck, even our border states actively advertise on CT TV stations in an attempt to get businesses to relocate to their states. Everyone seems to recognize how bad CT is except for the state legislature and you, 'Happy to be a DEMOCRAT FOR LIFE!'. So, you may be happy for the moment, but when more of the state looks like Hartford/Bridgeport/Waterbury than looks like Litchfield County, I suspect you will no longer be as 'Happy' as you are right now.

I know this family & have known them for many years, BEFORE anyone goes about leaving comments…Read More with FALSE & INACCURATE information, THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK-OUT... Have some COMPASSION & SYMPATHY for their loss, & LET THEM GRIEVE IN PEACE !!! ... There was NOTHING CRIMINAL or SUSPICIOUS about this. It was a TRAGIC ACCIDENT... again, PLEASE let the families grieve in peace... Thank you....
