Enfield Public Libraries

The town's two libraries provide a vast array of services for Enfield residents. Books, magazines, periodicals, videos and audio materials may all be checked out, and numerous computer terminals are available for public use. There is also an entire room devoted to children. The library is entrusted with operating E-TV, the town government station on Cox Cable channel 16. Many programs are featured in the community room at the Central Library. The Pearl Street branch library was built in the late 1910s with money donated by philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, and is an architectural marvel.
