Woodside Park now has a spruced-up look, thanks to 120 volunteers from Pepsi Bottling Company who devoted a day's work on Saturday, April 27.

The 40-unit housing complex at the intersection of Post and Raffia Roads in Enfield now sports three landscaped gardens with perennial shrubs and colorful flowers, as well as freshly painted benches, picnic tables, and fence, and a pergola that will soon support flowering vines.

The project was spearheaded by the Enfield Innovation Project, an informal group of citizens who come together for service and mutual education.

Plants, soil and compost were donated by a number of area businesses;  food by Angelina's Restaurant (with surplus sent on to Loaves and Fishes);  and the pergola constructed by A Better Home Improvement Company.
