Benefit Dinner/Dance to Aid Infant With Heart Defect

"Hearts For Anthony" takes place Saturday, Aug. 18, and tickets are still available.

People from all over northern Connecticut are coming to the aid of an infant with a heart defect.

Anthony was born Apr. 11, 2012 with a congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot. His condition required open heart surgery at the Children’s Hospital in Boston at only 10 weeks of age.

Kerri Little, Anthony's mother, said he is progressing well and on the road to recovery.

In effort to help his family with mounting medical expenses, family and friends are holding a benefit dinner on Saturday, Aug. 18 from 5 p.m. to midnight at the American Legion Post 80, 566 Enfield St., Enfield. The BYOB affair will feature food, raffle and door prizes, and music by DJ Tim Jensen.

Tickets are $15 per person, and may be purchased in advance at heartsforanthony@yahoo.com, or by calling 860-370-9587.

Monetary donations can be sent to: 360 Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 273, Windsor Locks, CT 06096. Checks may be made payable to Kerri Little, and donors are asked to write "Deposit in Hearts for Anthony" on the check memo.
