Job Search Techniques

There is a wide variety of job search techniques.

Unfortunately, in the current economic situation, all of them are low percentage shots. However, some of them are higher, low-percentage shots than the others. These are the ones that The Thursday Group focuses on. So, if you are unemployed and you want to do something about it, you might want to invest some of your free time in yourself and hear about the most effective job search techniques. That can be done at our weekly meetings. 

Meetings are open to unemployed and seriously under-employed workers. There is no cost. There’s no dress code. We even provide free coffee. Our people are from all levels, functional areas, industry backgrounds. Some are high school grads, some have pedigrees. Despite the differences in our respective backgrounds, it is a very warm and welcoming and supportive group. 

We meet at Wesley United Methodist Church at 55 North Main Street in East Windsor. Meetings run from 7-9 PM every Thursday evening. For directions or information, call Pete at 860-758-7774
