A U.S. Figure Skating sponsored program, endorsed by USA Hockey the Ice Skating School at Enfield Twin Rinks offers learn to skate group instruction of basic skating skills.  Ages 4 through adult.  No prior skating experience is necessary.  Skaters will be grouped by ability and age.  Students can earn badges and certificates as they progress thru the program.  Participates can bring their own sharpened single blade skates, hockey or figure, or rent from the rink at no additional charge.  Helmets are required for students under the age of 8, but are recommended for skaters of any age.

We offer our tot program called Snow Plow Sam - badges 1-3 for preschool aged children up to age 6.  Students learn balance, coordination and strength in a smaller student:instructor ratio while having fun and getting healthy exercise!  Please dress as if going out to play in the snow.

Our Basic Skills badges 1-8 cover all age groups.  Students progress at their own rate and can challenge themselves while gaining live long skills, friends, exercise, etc.

Our Freestyle program badges 1-6 (prerequisite-basic 8) Students continue to learn skating skills such as spins and jumps and various skating maneuvers while flexibility and strength are continued to improve.

Our Hockey Learn to Skate levels 1-4.  Teaches skaters the necessary skating skills techniques to advance to a hockey program or for recreation for the rest of their lives.  Hockey skates, hockey helmet, and gloves are required.

Our teen/adult levels 1-4 offers skaters the ability to learn at their own pace while exercising, gaining strength, flexibility and have fun in a group setting.
