Enfield Softball Seeks Sponsors, Opens Player Registration

Spring will be here before we know it (hopefully), and registration is now open for softball in Enfield.

Winter is nearly upon us, but that only means warmer days — Spring days, in particular — are inching closer.

Accordingly, the Enfield Girls Softball Association is gearing up for another season and registration for the 2014 season is now open.

Additionally, ESGA — the largest town softball team in Connecticut — is looking for local businesses and individuals to sponsor play for the upcoming season.

"Community support is vital," according to EGSA, which is a non-profit organization which aims to teach fundamentals, sportsmanship and community engagement to its participants.

Available sponsorships range from advertisements on the EGSA website and name inclusion on player uniforms to vendor space at the league's opening event and business signage on field fences.

Those interested in sponsoring the 2014 season can visit the league website, mail payment to Debbie Martinez, 160 Brainard Rd., Enfield, Ct, or contact Debbie Martinez by phone at 860-967-7771 or by email at debbiemartinez584@ymail.com

Those interested in registering for participation in the 2014 softball season can visit www.EnfieldGirlsSoftballAssociation.com or email eap7013.net for a registration form.
