ShopRite of Enfield and the entire Miller Family are excited to start spreading the word of their Summer Event! With back to school just around the corner (sorry kids ... you're welcome, parents!), we thought what better time than to celebrate the season!
Cocktail Hour: Famers Market (with a side of summer merchandise)
An extensive array of everyones favorite summer treats at great prices; including, but not limited to: BBQ's, patio sets, umbrellas, beach toys, watermelons, summer squash, berries and corn. Some of our featured produce will be highlighting local farmers. Buy local when you can!
Appetizer: Manny from Manny's Olive Oil Company
Silver Placement winner in the NYC Olive Oil contest will be on deck to highlight one of summers' favorite appetizers: Caprese Salad. Made with fresh buffalo mozzarella, fresh Jersey Tomatoes, local basil and Manny's own Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Balsamic Vinegar and served with La Brea Breads (our delicious line of artisan breads). Is your mouth watering, yet?
Dinner: Meats & Seafoods
I don't even know where to begin to describe the list of our gourmet burgers made by our talented meat department. I'll advise you to only read on if you're not hungry: Jalapeno Cheddar, Habanero Ranch, Sweet Onion, Bourbon BBQ, Portabella Swiss Cheese, Texas Cheddar Onion and Peppersteak. I've already put in my request for a Jalapeno Chedder - my mouth is officially watering.
For those of you who want to appreciate the New England palate we are spoiled with, our seafood department will be featuring live blue crabs (we cook them right here in the store upon request!) Yes, you read that right. Live crabs, cooked on site for you. We'll also be featuring our Salmon Burger which will be in slider form for the weekend.
To accompany the sliders, we'll be having samplings of our locally produced Pan De Oro chips with salsa from Warren's Salsas and Relishes. If those names ring a bell, it's because they are both Connecticut produced!

We are honored to be hosting Jan Jungdon Trio who will be providing us with some LIVE entertainment! Jan and her trio perform in our store the first Sunday of every month from 11am - 2pm and we are so happy to have them join in our event.
Come with friends or come with family, but everyone is invited to come on down to ShopRite Enfield on August 3rd & August 4th: 9am - 4pm!
