Superintendent to Hold Info Session on Future of Enfield Schools

The special "Listen and Learn" event is scheduled for Oct. 30, 2013.

The Enfield school district announced Friday Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jeffrey Schumann will hold a special event to inform residents of the "plans for our schools and the future of Enfield."

Schumann will be joined at the event by Town Manager Matthew Coppler, and both men plan to answer questions from the public.

A statement released by the district encourages seniors to attend the event, which will be free of charge and include lunch.

After the 12 p.m. informational, Schumann and Coppler are scheduled to meet with Enfield seniors over coffee and pastries.

Those interested in attending are encouraged to call 860-763-7427 or sign up at the Enfield Senior Center.

The informational will be held on Oct. 30 at 12 p.m. at the Enfield Senior Center, located at 299 Elm Street.
