High School Consolidation Committee Members to Discuss Project on Radio Show

Members will appear Wednesday morning on the Bax and O'Brien Show on Rock 102.

Two members of the Enfield Pre-Referendum High School Consolidation Committee will be discussing the project Wednesday morning on one of the most popular radio programs in the area.

Chairman Randy Daigle and committee member Pat Droney will be guests on the Bax and O'Brien Show on Rock 102, WAQY. They are scheduled to appear around 7 a.m.

Droney arranged for the two to appear on the program in order to discuss the pending merger of and high schools into one school on the Enfield High School campus. A referendum question will appear on the November ballot to provide funding for the project.

Co-host John O'Brien is an alumnus of Enfield High, Droney said.

Daigle said the two hope to increase awareness of the facts supporting the consolidation, including state reimbursement criteria, changing graduation requirements and ADA compliance.

"We're trying to get the correct information out to the residents in as many ways as possible," Daigle said.
