Falcons Work Overtime to Turn Back Tri-Town

Brian Riley scores overtime goal to lead Fermi hockey co-op to 6-5 victory.

Avery Boissy scored two goals and assisted on Brian Riley's overtime game-winner to lead Fermi-Enfield/East Granby/Stafford past Tri-Town 6-5 in high school hockey action Saturday at the Enfield Twin Rinks.

Riley's goal 1:25 into the overtime session negated a fine comeback by Tri-Town, which trailed by three goals in the second period.

Jason Despard scored twice for the Falcons, while Nick Ferracci also put the puck in the net.

Five different players scored for Tri-Town: Cullen Roberts, Cam Pape, Nick Violette, Cole Henry and Ryan Gaidos.

Aaron Lickwar stopped 24 shots in goal for the Falcons, while Cam Pinkham made 17 saves for Tri-Town.

Fermi-Enfield/East Granby/Stafford (2-1-1) hosts East Catholic Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Tri-Town (0-4) plays host to NFA/St. Bernard/Bacon Saturday at 6:10 p.m.
