Storm Complications Cancel District 2 House Debate in Enfield

Candidate conflicts resulting from the storm has forced cancellation of tonight's debate at Enfield High School.

Complications from Hurricane Sandy has caused cancellation of the Enfield High School Youth Vote event scheduled for Thursday night.

The debate between Democratic U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney and Republican challenger Paul Formica had been scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Enfield High School auditorium, but was called off due to candidate conflicts resulting from the storm, according to a news release from the Enfield Public Schools.

Due to the close proximity to Election Day, the debate will not be rescheduled.
