Meet Enfield's New Assistant Town Manager of Development Services

By Jessie Sawyer

After five years as Farmington's economic development director, Courtney Hendricson is leaving her post to take on a job in Enfield.

This is Hendricson's last week in Farmington before she becomes Enfield assistant town manager over development services.

During her time in Farmington, Hendricson, of Cheshire, has seen economic growth in town, including projects like "Jackson Lab development and UCONN Health Center expansion" and businesses like the Hampton Inn, ACMAT and "the Metro Realty medical office complex."
Other career highlights Hendricson noted include "working in partnership with the City of Hartford to develop 86 acres at Fienemann Road," the redevelopment of Unionville, "PowerHawke moving into the Parsons Chevrolet building," "the renovation of the Hamilton Sunstrand Building," "the renovation of the Ecos Center by Primacy" and "the expansion of Trumpf and EBM Papst" to name a few.

Hendricson said that she will miss the "wonderful people and the stellar businesses in town" the most.

"I have enjoyed my work in Farmington so much and will miss all of the events and people I have come to know," Hendricson said.
