Not too worried AS(s)mith about the taxes either. The assessment and the taxes on my place have both gone down considerably last year.......... I guess because of recycling laws perhaps the cost of that refrigerator BOX you reside in has gone up. Maybe you and Mr. Hoff can run on the same line next election. You for mayor and he for town council........ On the Mental Defective Party line You'd be perfect.........fruitcake.

Mr. Ruocco, the DTC, is making the reader think something sinister has just happened. What he failed to tell you is that the position filled is one of the 4 or 5 positions filled by those serving at the pleasure of the mayor. It is not a "locked-in" forever job. The position is that of supervisor of the P/W Dept. The same position filled by Ralph Mauro during the last administration, again appointed by the then Mayor. Mr. Ruocco will do his best to twist everything around to benefit his party, and I can't wait for the next election year garbage to start-up by him. And a little word to the wise to that certain council member running around town spreading slenderest rumors about Mr. Parenti. He is coming close to a civil suit.

You know Anne, you sound very bitter, I am sorry that you feel the way that you do. Have you ever spent an entire day/week/month/school year as a one to one for a student with a significant disability? Autism, Duel Diagnosis, Downs Syndrome? I have worked in the field for over 25 years and although I do not have the certification to be a teacher, I could do goals and objectives, MAPS programming, ABA behavioral modification techniques and have been certified in Physical Management, cpr, first aide, medication, and food safety to teach life skills. I can task analysis you under the table and backward chain, with or without adaptations if you please. Although there may be some that think that a piece of paper makes them superior to others, the proof is in the pudding, sweets. I think that although you should have different pay rates, everyone should be eligible to have the same benefits. Life is too short to be bitter.
