Motorcycle Accident Seriously Injures 1
Route 5 was closed Sunday in Enfield following a motorcycle-SUV crash that left one seriously injured.
A motorcyclist was transported to the hospital after being hit by an SUV on Route 5 in Enfield Sunday night, according to NBC Connecticut.
NBC Connecticut reports, Route 5 was closed late Sunday night following the accident that occurred near Interstate 91's exit 49.
WFSB reported late Sunday that a female driver was charged with DUI in the accident, and tweeted this photo from the scene, adding that the motorcyclist was reportedly in serious condition.
The driver of the SUV was not injured, according to NBC, and police are investigating the crash.
