Man Now Facing Sexual Assault Charges in Vernon and Enfield

He was arrested by Vernon police on Wednesday night.

A Vernon man was taken into custody on Wednesday night as part of an investigation into alleged sexual assaults in Vernon and Enfield, police said.

Vernon detectives announced the arrest of Eliga Bray, 26, of 87
Union St. in Rockville, at 8:27 p.m. He had already been arrested in Enfield, police and court records indicate.

Bray was apprehended in Vernon on a warrant charging him with an alleged sexual assault that occurred last year at a Rockville address, police said. Bray is alleged to have forced an 11-year-old "to perform a sex act on him," police said.

Vernon detectives said that the investigation into Bray's actions began in October 2012, when Vernon police were contacted by Enfield police about alleged sexual assaults that had taken place in both Vernon and Enfield.

A joint investigation was launched by detectives from both departments, police said. As a result of the investigation, Bray was arrested on Nov. 9 for the Enfield charges and was out on a $15,000 bond when he was arrested on Wednesday for the Vernon charges.

Bray was charged in Vernon with:

• First-degree sexual assault.
• Unlawful restraint, second degree.
• Risk of injury to a minor.

Bray's bond was set at $500,000, cash or surety, on Wednesday night, police said. He was held overnight at the Vernon Police Department and is scheduled to be presented in Rockville Superior Court on Thursday if he does not post bond, police said.

He is due in Enfield Superior Court on Feb. 6, court records indicate.

The charges in the Enfield case include:

• Fourth-degree sexual assault.
• Two counts of risk of injury to a child.
• Disorderly conduct.

He will get let out soon. Then he will do it again at least ten more times. He will get arrested ten more times. Then he will get rehabilitated by the gutless liberals. They will let him out again. So let's take away all of the guns from law abiding citizens. That will solve everything. Thanks dumbecrats!

Hey! I'm all for the second amendment. People should be allowed to have guns. My only rule is if you call people names on the internet you're out. I mean if you can't public discourse how the hell can you handle a gun? Sorry Tig! You're out. Thanks for playing.
