Enfield Police Explorers Launch "Stuff a Cruiser" Campaign to Aid Toys For Joy

The third annual benefit campaign continues Sunday, then again next Saturday and Sunday in front of Target.

For the third consecutive year, members of the Enfield Police Explorers are assisting children in need with their "Stuff a Cruiser" campaign.

The drive, which collects donations of new unwrapped toys for the Toys For Joy program, began Saturday morning in front of the Target store at the Enfield Square. Members of the Explorers, assisted by auxiliary police and students at the Public Safety Academy, are collecting toys and monetary donations to benefit the annual toy-giving drive.

Toys For Joy serves needy children up to age 10.

The campaign continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Next weekend, the volunteers will collect Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
