Terror on Sun Street Halloween Displays bring in a ton for the cause.

The two families that hosted the Terror on Sun Street in Enfield again this passed Halloween, AJ, Lori and Devin Thibodeau and the LeRocques, Joanne and Guy and Scary Larry are happy to announce that they reached their goal of 1 ton, 2000 pounds,of food donations for the Enfield Food Shelf. Both families have spent countless hours working on the displays year after year and it just keeps getting better and they are already looking forward to next year.
The Enfield Food Shelf is currently supplying food to over 900 families in the Enfield area and was thrilled to once again receive this years Halloween donations from these generous families. The total weight for this years donations added up to 2004 pounds and $139.00 in donation, equalled to about two weeks worth of food that gets dispersed.
The Sun Street families would like to thank everyone who stopped by to see the displays and dropped off food donations that helped them reach their unbelievable goal. Special thanks to TheHome Depot in memory of Billy Varnet, The First Niagara Bank,(Manchester Team), Stanley Works, and Jim and Cindy from Brickenmore by Eagle Valley Eco Fuel Inc. in Ellington.
Hats off to these families and all of the volunteers and donors. The Enfield Food Shelf is always in need of donations, be it non perishable food or monetary donations to enable them to help keep food on table for so many families in need. They are hoping to collect at least 950 turkeys and all the fixings for Thanksgiving Day dinner.
Please visit their website and help in any way you can. Enfieldfoodshelf@att.net
