NE Nightingales Aging Tip

Maintaining flexibility can reduce the risk of injury during the aging process.  Dr. Ebanks, MD, Founder and Medical Director of Alternity Healthcare, explains how to increase flexibility and the benefits it has on your joints.  The temperatures outside are cold, so chances are you are not outside as much.  If you are a caregiver, take a few moments a day to help your resident, patient, or loved one do some stretching exercises.  A little movement can go a long way!  For example, such exercises can, according to Alternity Healthcare, LLC, alleviate lower back pain and improve balance.
