King's Island Boat Launch Spoiled

Whoever designed the new layout for the King's Island boat launch did not take into consideration how the area was being used...and has been used for many years. Cars are no longer able to park facing the river in order for occupants to sit in their cars and watch the river. The picnic table, which was vandalized last Halloween, is not being replaced. I (and many others) have no place to sit and eat a picnic lunch while enjoying the river. Sitting on a boulder is not acceptable. And I understand the flock of geese that have been there for many years will be relocated. Another source of pleasure...gone. For whom was this "make over" done? Certainly not the people who used to come down and enjoy sitting a while just enjoying the peace and quiet of our >> beautiful river and its wild life. I'm sure they meant well, but they missed the mark.
