I support Kaupin, Hall, Stokes & Szewczak

On Monday, July 21, 2013, I attended the Enfield Republican Town Caucus and observed firsthand the activities that occurred during the caucus proceedings. The recommended slate was derived through the conventionally accepted process of application, interview and committee review. The actions of the caucus members that decided the outcome was not a series of random events, but a well-orchestrated and scripted event that was meant to undermine the recommended slate.

I can certainly see why Scott Kaupin and Carol Hall decided to withdrawal their nomination from the endorsed slate and primary. I have spoken with Carol Hall directly on several occasions about the leadership for this slate and she feels very strongly that the leadership should remain as Scott Kaupin as Mayor and a position of Deputy Mayor to be offered to Bill Lee.

I believe the petitioning "Republicans for Enfield" slate comprised of Scott Kaupin, Carol Hall, Greg Stokes and Donna Szewczak will lead the Town to a position where we can be proud to be a resident. With this group we will have the vision to improve the future of Enfield and have elected officials we know are selfless in their actions and in no way hold elected office for personal gain from their decision-making.

The Town of Enfield needs independent thinkers and doers that have a common goal for keeping the betterment of Enfield. By keeping personal agendas from their decision making and consider the merits of opposing viewpoints Scott, Carol, Greg and Donna are the true leaders of Enfield.

They have shown how reaching common decisions that encompass compromise of the entire population will ensure all ideals are realized and Enfield citizens are treated with respect. As a previous councilman, I believe that this group, Scott, Carol, Greg and Donna are the people Enfield needs to lead this community.
