ENFIELD DOCUMENT SHREDDING DAY GUIDELINES

Just saw the ad in the JI about our free paper shredding day on Saturday, 6/21.  I think this is great that we have this; HOWEVER, among the Confidential material that is NOT permitted are medical records or business documents.  My question is what other kind of confidential stuff would an everyday citizen have that would need shredding??  The other nixed items are accordion folders, metal clips, plastic, junk mail, and magazines--each of which can either be put in regular trash or recycled anyway.  The main items that need to be shredded are exactly those medical records and business documents.  What are responsible people to do with those since we can't burn them outside?  Is it up to us to buy personal shredders for these items?  It just doesn't make sense to me.
