The seminar will provide information for residents regarding a Home Energy Solutions (HES) assessment and available rebates for additional energy efficiency rebates. HES is a ratepayer-funded service run through the Energize CT program. The assessment provides residents with CL&P-authorized technicians who install energy efficient products and perform weatherization services in homes and apartments. The cost for a HES assessment is $75-99, depending on which fuel source is used to heat the home.

Additionally, attendees will learn how they can receive a free thermal image of their home’s exterior to identify where there are deficiencies in the building’s envelope. This service is available to Enfield residents courtesy of Sagewell. This image can be used to visually identify cost-effective energy efficiency retrofit solutions, and is available through the Sagewell website (http://www.sagewell.com/enfield).
