Community Update

We’re running out of
time!

We are currently
behind compared to previous years with only 4 weeks to go!!  All donations received
between March 1 and April 30 will be proportionately matched by this foundation,
making this time period critical for the Soup
Kitchen.

We are truly blessed
with all of the volunteers and supporters but the need throughout the county,
the state and even over our borders has grown extremely and we are in desperate need of your support to
help us to continue with our efforts.

In 2013 we served 56,414
meals
were served in addition
37,581 snacks were given to children.
There were also meals served for Home Consumption which equaled more the
9,135 meals.  We are open seven days a
week to feed the hungry/needy, as well as providing support to help the working
poor, unemployed, low-income families, and those in temporary need of help.  In addition to serving nutritious meals, the
Soup Kitchen directs guests to appropriate resources for job opportunities,
social services, nearby available rents and medical
assistance.

Your
support is always greatly appreciated, and will enable the Soup Kitchen to
continue the Fight against Hunger. We are asking for a miracle.
