It would make more sense to me if our Supreme Court had made the decision that birth control of any kind would be exempt from coverage.  By using just this example and calling it religious freedom you are on a slippery slope as no two religions practice the same ideology when it comes to the mechanics of their faith.  The Jehovah Witness do not believe in transfusions; does that mean a business owner who is of that faith does not have to cover that procedure with insurance; the Roman Catholics do not believe in any form of birth control, and what about people who profess no organized religions but still need to be employed..do they have to discuss their personal lives with their potential employer to see if they can be insured for their personal health issues?  What about the right of privacy?  Either insure birth control and call it a medical decision made by a physician, or eliminate covering all of it for everyone seems like the only fair way.
