Pearl Street Centennial Celebration – Book Discussions through the Decades

Date of Program:  Monday, May 5, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the Pearl Street Branch Library

2014 marks The Pearl Street Branch Library’s 100th Anniversary!  Please join us in our year long Pearl Street Branch Centennial Celebration.

The thought provoking series, “Book Discussions through the Decades,” continues with Andrew Carnegie by David Nasaw on Monday, May 5th at 7:00 PM at the Pearl Street Branch Library.  Andrew Carnegie is the most current biography of the man behind the funds to build the Pearl Street Library.  Please note that you are welcome to read any other source available to familiarize yourself with this most interesting man.  Special guest facilitator, Dr. Frank (Doc) Taylor, is the former History Department Head at Enfield High School.  Refreshments will be served at the discussion and copies of the book are available for check-out at either library location.
