Meet the Author Darlene Blythe

Visit the Enfield Public Library on Wednesday, March 26th at 7:00 PM to meet author, Darlene Blythe, and discuss her first novel, The Last Summer Rose.

In The Last Summer Rose, waitress Meghan O’Riley has given up the hope of ever finding a husband who possesses the qualities that she desires in a man.  When she becomes unexpectedly involved with a handsome stranger who does not fit her criteria for a suitable husband, warning bells go off inside her.  Despite her reservations, Meghan cannot resist the lure of romantic love.

Author Darlene Blythe was born and raised in Connecticut.  She enjoys spending family time with her two daughters and adorable grandson, as well as taking long walks in the woods with her dogs.
