Italycious with Enzo Boscarino

Visit the Enfield Public Library on Wednesday, May 7th at 7:00 PM for an evening of musical enchantment as Enzo Boscarino presents Italycious.

Enzo Boscarino, originally of Siracusa, Italy, will serenade his audience with traditional Italian music, as well as presenting several songs from other countries.  The songs will be performed in their original language, with the musical styles ranging from folk to romantic, from classic to modern rock.  During the performance, Enzo will also offer historical and cultural anecdotes seasoned with good humor.

Boscarino left Italy at the age of 21 to pursue his education in the United States, and after working for 35 years as a Spanish teacher in West Hartford, CT, he now teaches at Central Connecticut State University and St. Joseph’s College. A poet, scholar, fencing master, linguist, actor, translator, singer and guitarist, Enzo Boscarino has been dubbed “a true Renaissance Man" by Martha's Vineyard Gazette. He has shared his love of the music of Italy’s various regions with audiences in Newport, Martha’s Vineyard, and NYC, as well as at First Night in Hartford.
