“CT Lore: Strange, Off Kilter and Full of Surprises,” with author, Zachary Lamothe

Meet author, Zachary Lamothe, as he presents, “Connecticut Lore: Strange, Off Kilter and Full of Surprises,” at the Enfield Public Library on Wednesday, October 30th at 7:00 PM.  Books will be on hand for sale and signing.

“Connecticut Lore: Strange, Off Kilter and Full of Surprises,” is a wide-ranging book that highlights stories of abandoned villages, tales of the supernatural and off-beat travel destinations such as museums dedicated to carousels, railroads, and bizarre curiosities.  There are also insider’s tips on tasty restaurants and activities near various attractions.  The book has something new for first time visitors as well as for long-time residents of Connecticut.

Norwich, CT native, Zachary Lamothe graduated from Boston University, where he majored in American Studies, with a concentration in New England history.  He then obtained a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Southern Connecticut State University. He is a teacher in Marshfield, Massachusetts, and is a free-lance writer. “Connecticut Lore” is his first book.
