Date of Program:  Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 7:00 PM

Visit the Enfield Public Library on Wednesday, January 22nd at 7:00 PM for, “Almost an Aussie,” author talk and book signing featuring Mike Colandro.

Mike Colandro, a Newington, Connecticut native, takes the reader through a well-traveled and fascinating autobiography with “Almost an Aussie.”  From meeting Arnold Palmer, back when the Greater Hartford Open was still called the Insurance City Open, to becoming a caddy, then playing on the PGA tour, golf is the defining theme throughout his memoir. Mike has played in both the U.S and British Opens, in addition to playing in Europe, Asia, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, and most notably, Australia. For sixteen years he competed on the Australasian Tour, winning events and making many friends.  As well, Mike has been teaching all levels of golfers through private, group, and playing lessons.  Mike is also an entertainer-he sings, and also puts on golf shows.  He has performed at many charitable golf outings, singing his unique Golf Songs. Join us for an entertaining evening with this Renaissance man!
