“Adventures in Autism” with Peter A. LaPorta

In honor of National Autism Awareness month, the Enfield Public Library presents, “Adventures in Autism,” with best-selling author and world renowned speaker, Peter A. LaPorta, on Wednesday, April 30th at 7:00 PM.

Based on his heart-warming book, “Adventures in Autism,” Peter will fascinate the audience as he introduces many incredible individuals that have adjusted their sails and live healthy and productive lives with Autism.  During this informative seminar, families from around the globe, including Peter’s own, share their stories of living with Autism while surfing, playing music, going horse-back riding, competing in sports, and so much more.  Peter aims to reach out and enlighten the general public on the many amazing adults and children living with Autism and to allow families that have been affected by Autism to realize that they are not alone.

Peter A. LaPorta splits his time between Connecticut and Florida with his wife and four children.  He is a former leader of Walt Disney World and Universal Studios and travels the globe motivating and consulting businesses, organizations, and employees.  The author of four books, with a fifth being published in Spring 2014, Peter has inspired thousands around the globe through his literary work, as well as his insightful seminars and weekly radio broadcasts.
