KO Alum to Speak About New Book, "Anxious Kids, Anxious Parents," on Apr. 29

Kingswood Oxford alumna Lynn Gerwig Lyons ’83, a psychotherapist and clinical social worker, will visit West Hartford on Apr. 29 to speak about her new book, Anxious Kids, Anxious Parents: 7 Ways to Stop the Worry Cycle and Raise Courageous and Independent Children

Her talk, which is open to the public and free of charge, will be held at 7pm in Alumni Hall in the heart of the KO campus, steps from Blue Back Square. Lyons, who was recently interviewed by Katie Couric, earned a BA from Williams College and a Master’s in Social Work from Boston University. Married with two sons, she lives and works in Concord, NH.
