Tonight in Thompsonville: Dinner and Activities for Families

The Enfield Hunger Action Team and Educational Resources for children is hosting their third monthly Tonight in Thompsonville tonight at 6:30pm at Saint Patrick's Parish Hall. 

The monthly dinners began in march as a way to help out hungry families in a way that builds community and takes social initiative. Past events have included informational resources on nutrition and cooking for families as well as donated clothing available for children to take home. 

The Enfield Hunger Action Team also provides information for families who can receive SNAP benefits. 

All families who attend the event tonight will receive a free dinner and dessert. After the meal, families are invited to participate in Reading for Fun literacy activities. No cost or advance registration is necessary to participate.
