Hazardous Waste Collection in Enfield Slated for June 1

Mark your calendars.

Saturday, June 1 is the sole day for residents to dispose of hazardous waste.  

The Stanley E. Jablonski Complex on 40 Moody Rd. will be open from 8 a.m.-to 1 p.m. for free disposal, according to the Town of Enfield.

Accepted items include, but are not limited to:

  • Pesticides 
  • Herbicides
  • Weed killers
  • Fertilizers
  • CFL's 
  • Flourescent light bulbs
  • Oil-based paint
  • Paint thinners 
  • Varnish
  • Stains
  • Rechargeable household batteries
  • Pool chemicals
  • Household cleaners
  • Antifreeze 
  • Mercury

Paper shredding services will also be made available to residents. 

Proof of residency is required.
