Our original post follows:

It's a big weekend for the Fermi High Relay for Life Team, and they're hoping that the community is going to come out and show their support.

The team is holding two fundraisers. Here's the info on each:

Trunk Sale on Saturday

On Saturday, May 17, Fermi High school’s Relay For Life Team is holding a Trunk Sale in Fermi’s lower parking lot. The trunk sale is a massive tag sale where people can bring a vehicle and claim a spot in Fermi’s lower parking lot for a $20 registration fee. All registration fees are donated to the American Cancer Society.

The team says this is a great way to get your spring cleaning out of the way, support a great cause, and make a little money. The Relay team is also having a bake sale during the trunk show. And the Safe Grad Committee will be selling graduation signs.

To reserve a spot for the trunk sale, email fermirelay2014@yahoo.com by Thursday, May 15.

Get Your Grub on at Chicago Sams

If the trunk show is not your forte, the Relay team is holding a fundraiser at Chicago Sams on Sunday, May 18. The fundraiser begins at 1 p.m. and ends at 5 p.m. There will also be raffles, ending at 5 p.m.
