"Seasons of Love: A Cabaret of Broadway Love Songs"


BROADWAY IN LOVE
Songs from Broadway that evoke first love, enchant the skeptical, kick-start romance and warm even the coldest hearts will be offered in "Seasons of Love: A Cabaret of Broadway Love Songs" by the Manchester Musical Players (MMP) on February 14 at 7 p.m. as its Valentine's Day gift to the greater Hartford area.
This midwinter sweet treat presented by MMP, a theatrical troupe celebrating over 50 years of musical performances and featuring stars from the local and national stage, will offer up works by Broadway's legendary composers and lyricists such as Leonard Bernstein, Rodgers & Hammerstein and Lerner and Lowe with songs from past and current shows such as "Jersey Boys," "My Fair Lady," "The Producers," "The Sound of Music" "Fiddler on the Roof," "Avenue Q," "Little Shop of Horrors," and more.
The show is directed by Jenna Levitt and Caitlin Sailer. Musical Direction is by Kim Aliczi and choreography is by Caitlin Sailer.
This show will be staged as a fundraiser for MMP at the SMB Charitable Foundation Auditorium at Manchester Community College, located at 60 Bidwell Street in Manchester. Tickets range from $15 for general admission, $12 for seniors and $10 for groups of 15 or more. Tickets are available atwww.mmplayers.org. Tickets are also available at the door. Free parking is available.
