PEP's Noted Parenting Author Series

The Parent Encouragement Program
(PEP), a locally-based nonprofit offering parenting classes to area residents, will host an evening talk by internationally recognized parenting expert Rosalind Wiseman on Thursday, September 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Maret School,
3000 Cathedral Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. Tickets are $25 per person by calling PEP at (301) 929-8824 or by registering online at PEPparent.org.

“We
are thrilled to be hosting Rosalind as part of PEP’s Noted Parenting Author Series,” said Cheryl Wieker, PEP Executive Director. “We know that her expertise on children, teens, parenting and bullying will make for a lively and
informative talk for the Washington community.”

Wiseman’s presentation, “The New Rules of Boy World,” will include remarks based on her 20 years of teaching teens and two years of working with over 200 teen editors for her latest book, Masterminds and Wingmen. In the book, Wiseman gives insights into what matters most to boys – their friendships, girls, and their relationships with adults. In addition, the book explains how boys’ and girls’ social group dynamics influence their interactions.
