Allied’s Attic Thrift Store will be celebrating its sixth anniversary in Enfield at a new location. On August 1, the Attic will open a new store at 294 George Washington Road. A ribbon-cutting will take place at 10:00 a.m. Shoppers who bring donations of non-perishable food items for the Enfield Food Shelf and 5 Corner Cupboard in East Windsor will receive a $1-off Allied’s Attic coupon for every item. The previous thrift store at 581 Enfield Street, which opened on August 20, 2007, will close at the end of business on Monday, July 29.
The new store is located in the same building that houses the thrift store’s Donation Processing Center. The store is close to a Magic Carpet Bus stop.
