Food Shelf donations earn coupons at Allied's Attic

Allied’s Attic Thrift Store at 294 George Washington Rd. is
collecting non-perishable food items, gift cards and cash for local food
shelves in Enfield and East Windsor. The food drive will continue through Nov.
23. Donations will be delivered in time for Thanksgiving.

“The generosity of our patrons and donors has allowed us to
make numerous donations to the Enfield Food Shelf and 5 Corner Cupboard,”
states thrift store Manager Marisol Suarez.
“Helping the community has been one of our priorities since we opened in
2007,” she adds.

On Wednesday, Oct. 30, shoppers and donors who bring canned
and non-perishable food will receive a dollar-off thrift store coupon for each
item. For grocery gift cards or cash, donors will receive coupons of equal
value.
