Enfield Friends Author Event - Jeanne DeBell

Friends of the Enfield Library are presenting Jeanne DeBell at their February 26 meeting.  Jean is the author of Crescent Lake 1914-1950.  Jean lives at Crescent Lake, which borders Enfield, CT and East Longmeadow, Ma.  Jean will discuss the history of the area and its current status.  The Shakers of Enfield created Crescent Lake to provide water power for their sawmills around 1792.  Jean will be selling her book and signing copies after her presentation.  Refreshments will be served at the meeting which starts at 7:00 PM in the Community Room, Enfield Central Library, 104 Middle Road.  Don't miss this!  You may win the Book Door Prize!
