Dark Stories and Dark Chocolate with Author Dawn Metcalf

If you have a sweet
tooth and a love of young adult novels, join local author Dawn Metcalf at the
Enfield Public Library Tuesday, August 6th at 6:30 p.m. for “Dark
Stories and Dark Chocolate.”  This is a
drop-in program open to teens and adults who appreciate young adult
literature.

Metcalf
will discuss the allure of tragedy in young adult literature, why dystopian
novels are so popular, and why we cheer on tragic heroes.  The discussion will include a synopsis of her
own book, Indelible, released at the
end of July by HarperTeen.  Teens can
receive temporary tattoos designed from the book’s cover art… And did we
mention chocolate?
