Backpack & Supplies Drive and Backpack for Kids Day

On August 1st, the annual Summer Lunch Bunch Backpack & Supplies for Kids drive will

officially kick-off to help children get ready for school. For many Enfield families,

purchasing school supplies for their children is a daunting financial challenge

because the costs of necessary items are beyond their means. If everyone in our community

contributes a little, so much can be accomplished.

The drive gives opportunities for businesses, community organizations, faith-based organizations and individuals to participate in this collaborative community effort to ensure children are ready to learn on the first day of school. Donations can be just backpacks or just supplies or backpacks already filled.

If you don’t have time or if you don’t like to shop, financial donations can be made directly to the Backpack & Supplies Drive at www.erfc.us
