State Title within reach!

The Enfield Girls 10-11 Softball team is looking to capture the 2013 State Title. The girls breezed their way through the District competition, capturing their second consecutive District 8 Championship a couple of weeks ago. 

The girls have still yet to lose a postseason game with a 5-0 record on District and State competition with an average winning margin of more than 10 runs! On Monday, the girls posted their first State competition victory with a 15-5 victory over Hamden. On Tuesday, the girls followed up with a 21-6 win over Glastonbury. 

The next game is scheduled for Friday at 7:30pm in Newington against Westport. An Enfield win earns them a spot in the State Championship game on Monday.
