Enfield Mayor Scott Kaupin and Friendly’s CEO John Maguire offer an ice cream cone to Chantae Chambers, 9, of the Boys & Girls Club of Hartford at Friendly’s at 93 Elm Street.
Mayor Kaupin declared February 4, 2013 “Friendly’s Day” in Enfield to commemorate the restaurant’s unveiling of a refreshed appearance and updated menu to the public. This restaurant is one of the first Friendly’s locations to take part in the company’s ongoing initiative to reposition the brand and bring it back to its roots.
Friendly’s will be donating $1 from every ice cream dessert sold through Sunday, February 10 to the Boys & Girls Club of Hartford at the Global Communications Academy.
