stand up for our children

My son made National in track this year. He's also the State champion. The superintendent denied all proposals for help to get him to New York. He also didn't want ny son's coaches there to support. 700 for ny child his coach & I to go for 1night,but they want an athlete who had to run a 9am to drive from Enfield High to New York at 4am to run hurdles. That was despicable. So I provided the financial support without help to spend the night get rest & be prepared to run. I've never been in New York or rode a subway. Without any support financially or morally or emotionally from anyone school related only student and his teachers we left to be surprised by Hus two coaches who provided their own money to be there for my son for support. My son placed 2nd in Nationals a beautiful moment to share with him only to be pulled in the ifffuce the next day interrogated by school officials on why Hus coaches went. No congratulations no thank you for representing our school with honor and valor. No nothing but criticism and ridicule. This superintendent basically told me my son didn't deserve his coaches there even though it was dine for Fermi. They are no trying to terminate these wonderful coaches who are the definition of what I want as a role model for my child because they went above and beyond, stood by him, supported him and me when we needed them the most. I couldn't have done this without them get through New York being from Louisiana us like a rat in a haystack. My son couldn't have done this great accomplishment without them. I ask this superintendent is making teacher who have worked at the school system retire to Hus uncaring and down right disregard for students And faculty needs. Something must be done or our children will suffer. I won't allow him to push out anymore teacher who for doing the right thing.
