Food Drive for the Enfield Community a Success

The Tobacco Valley Teachers Federal Credit Union (TVTFCU), a not-for-profit financial co-operative in Enfield, recently hosted a food drive to benefit the Enfield Food Shelf.  This non-profit volunteer program began in 1968 and continues today with the help of volunteers who have collected, prepared, and distributed food to thousands of needy families. The credit union sponsors an annual food drive to allow for donations from its members and staff.

“The credit union philosophy has always been ‘people helping people’. We strive to help those in need whenever we can. We would like to thank our members and staff for their generosity and for optimizing the credit union cooperative spirit,” said Myrijam Meserve, Manager/CEO of the Tobacco Valley Teachers Federal Credit Union.
