Do You Remember...: Enfield Photo Archive

Enfield Patch periodically features a photo of a business or landmark that no longer exists, and we ask readers to share their memories.

In this periodic series, Enfield Patch publishes a photo of a business or landmark in town that is no longer in existence.

For many years, grocery shoppers came from all over town to buy their food in the cozy, small-town atmosphere of Shaker Pines Market on North Maple Street. The market was torn down in the 1980s, and was replaced by a small plaza that currently houses Lil' Buddy's Mini Mart, the Perfect Look salon and several other businesses.

Patch invites readers to share their memories of this great establishment in the comments section below. We want to hear stories about the owners and employees, and of course, we want to know what your favorite items were at the store.

Do you have a photo of a former Enfield business? Upload it to the Viewfinder: Enfield board at the top of our home page, and we'll feature it in this column.
